A client you keep open all day is a place you work, not a dialog you open. Everything restores where you left it, including which panel had focus.

What it does

  • Split vertically or horizontally, nested, resizable, with each panel running its own query
  • Pop any tab into a floating window and re-attach it later, on Pro
  • Ctrl+K fuzzy-searches every connection, database, collection, favorite and open tab at once, and the > prefix reaches the commands
  • Pointing at a collection reports its document count, data size, schema state and index count without opening it
  • 11 built-in themes, and on Pro an editor that derives a whole theme from three colours, the editor syntax and the type badges included
  • Tabs carry their connection colour, so the tab tells you which cluster you are about to write to
