You decide what it may do

Permissions are set by kind of action. Looking is always allowed. Changing the workspace, deleting things in Monghoul and reaching your databases are each set to Ask first or Allow.

A record of every call

AI Activity lists each call an assistant made, when it ran, and whether it ran, was declined or was refused. The record stays on your machine.

Any MCP client: The server listens on loopback only and needs a token. Monghoul has ready-to-copy snippets for the common clients.
